The Empress & District Historical Society has worked for more than a decade to restore the old CPR station to its former glory. The grand opening of the (mostly completed) museum will be on Saturday July 19th 2014 as part of the village Centennial Celebrations. |

Since 1991, the old Alberta Wheat Pool elevator acts has been open every summer as an interactive museum. The equipment still operable. The Tea Room is open next door in an old Eatons catalogue House. Open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm seven days a week during July and August. |
